Thunderpunch is our unique version of Switchel, a colonial era drink with Caribbean origins. Also referred to as “Haymaker punch” because of the punch it packs from both a taste and medicinal perspective. The bite comes from its ingredients which include, fresh baby ginger grown on our farm, apple cider vinegar with “the mother”, and honey to smooth out the taste.
Also known as “Aqua de Jamaica”, the benefits of Hibiscus juice are numerous. It’s full of phytonutrients that are of pharmacological importance and possess antibacterial, antioxidant, antipyretic (fever reducer), hepatoprotective (preventing liver damage), nephroprotective (protecting kidneys), cancer-preventative, anti-obesity, lactating, anti-hypertensive, and anti-anaemic properties. Our blend is made with hibiscus and ginger that is grown using natural and organic methods right on our farm. In addition, we use raw organic cane sugar for sweetner.
